Take pottery classes at The FORD Studios.

During this class, students will hand-build two ghost figurines, a Santa and his Elf, ranging in size from 6" to 10" depending on each student's artistic choices.  You will learn step-by-step while making the smaller elf, and then you make your own larger Santa with assistance, if needed.  Image provided is of two figurines, just sculpted.  Finished Santa will be glazed a shiny, soft red & pearl white while the Elf will be shiny evergreen & pearl white.

Only available for private classes at this time.

GUIDELINES:

• LIMITED SEATING: Each session is limited to 8 people.  
• LENGTH of STUDIO TIME: up to 2 hours
• AGE LIMIT:  Participants must be at least 13 years or older. There must be a supervising adults for ages 13-16.
• No one may accompany you unless they are also participating in the class.
• PICK UP: The pieces you make will be for pickup around 4 to 6 weeks after your class.  Please be sure to provide an email address and/or phone number to be notified when your pottery is available for pickup.
• APRONS not provided.  Please bring/wear something you don't mind getting dirty; however, you will be using non-staining porcelain clay... so it will wash out of clothing.

FEES:

• $40 per person.  This fee covers the studio time, materials, finish glazing, firing & clean up.  You make the pottery, we will glaze & fire the pieces.

*** You may cancel your reservation and receive a full refund if you email your request to cancel to theFORDstudios@gmail.com by 5pm EST three days prior to your reserved studio session.  After that, you will not receive a refund.

**** You may bring your own beverages; however, alcoholic beverages are only allowed in classes where all participants are a part of the same party or all participants consent.

**** There are 6 parking spaces in the garage attached to the rear of the building located at 103 Pendleton St, Marion VA 24354.  The spaces are clearly marked with The FORD Studios logo.  If all the gallery spaces are full, there is street parking is available on Main Street.
