Britta Cruz, a native of Munich, Germany has lived in the US for 28 years. Over the past 13 years she has mainly explored textiles as her medium. The work seeks to evoke emotion. Her most recent work connects art with utilitarian items like this Merino wool yarn. Cruz currently lives with her family in Goochland, VA also lovingly referred to as “nirvana”.
