During this class, students make a pair of hand-built candle holders. You will learn step-by-step while making a first candle holder, and then you will make your own matching piece with assistance if needed. Multiple textures and shapes are available. (Candle & candle ring not included.) You may also pick your own combination of glaze colors.

GUIDELINES:
- LIMITED SEATING: Each session is normally limited to 4 people. We CAN add 2 spots if you contact us.)
- LENGTH of STUDIO TIME: 2-3 hours
- AGE LIMIT: Participants must be at least 13+ yearsold AND have a supervising adult also taking the class.
- No one may accompany you unless they are also a paid participant in the pottery class.
- PICK UP: Please be sure to provide an email address and/or phone number to be notified when your pottery is available for pickup.
- APRONS not provided. Please bring/wear something you don't mind getting dirty; however, you will be using non-staining porcelain clay... so it will wash out of clothing
FEES:
- $60 per person. This fee covers the studio time & materials for the class. We cannot guarantee all pieces will survive the process, as pottery is not a absolutely predictable science. You learn to make the candleholders, and we will bisque, glaze & fire them. We will do our best, but there are no refunds for pieces that break during finishing.

*** You may cancel your reservation and receive a gift certificate for a future class if you email your request to cancel to theFORDstudios@gmail.com by 5pm EST three days prior to your reserved studio session. After that, you will not receive a refund.

**** There are 6 parking spaces in the garage attached to the rear of the building located at 103 Pendleton St, Marion VA 24354. The spaces are clearly marked with The FORD Studios logo. If all the gallery spaces are full, there is street parking is available on Main Street.
