Mixed Media Mandala Art Class Information

Join Artist Rachel Gibson, and create a mandala using watercolor & embroidery.

Learn more about how these circles of meditation work like graphic captures of a place, a movement or feeling that can serve to help focus your creative energy and use color & mark-making as a tool of personal discovery.

No drawing, painting or embroidery skills required - all abilities welcome!  Come have some fun, learn a little about yourself, and nurture your creative instincts.

GUIDELINES:

• LIMITED SEATING: Each session is limited to 3 people.  
• LENGTH of STUDIO TIME: 6 hours (including breaks) You may not require the entire time to finish your work.  Each person works at their own pace.
• AGE LIMIT:  Participants must be at least 13 years or older unless there is a supervising adult also taking the class.
• No one  may accompany you unless they are a paid participant in the Mixed Media Mandala Class.
• We are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 & hope you are as well.  If you are not vaccinated, we ask that you wear a mask while inside The FORD Studios.

FEES:

• $80 per person.  This fee covers all materials including embroidery supplies to take home if you don't finish in class.

**** You may bring your own beverages; however, alcoholic beverages are only allowed in classes where all of the participants are a part of the same party or all participants consent. theFORDstudios@gmail.com.

**** There are 6 parking spaces in the garage attached to the rear of the building located at 103 Pendleton St, Marion VA 24354.  The spaces are clearly marked with The FORD Studios logo.  If all the gallery spaces are full, there is street parking is available on Main Street.
